“This course is legit but, if you are looking for problems along the way this is the course for you. The staff organising the training are full of mis-information and only want to get you off the phone, leading you to waste time and run round in circles. You have 3 years to complete this course but it take 2 months or so to book each practical, of which on the weekend plumbing course there are 16, the 1st year is mainly theory and the disorganisation and misinformation runs down the clock on those 3 years very quickly, I hope you finish in time but i'm sure some student dont get the chance. This is a long way to complete a course that otherwise is very achievable. You really should try to find an alternative before committing to it (in my opinion)”
“New trades career is the worst. I never encountered a online course that doesn't allow you to pass the online tests. For a year i tried to pass the pre exam test with no succes. Even if i was stupid i would still get one by luck, but no. And for a month now doesn't let me to log in to my account. Stay away.”
“The course comes with a 36 month time limit which while is enough time to do the course, should be included. If you pay for a car in full you expect to have the car as long as you want it. it's yours... The course doesn't take into account that you have paid for a product and that shouldn't have a time limit on something you have bought. I have looked at revisiting the course i'd paid £7800 for to be told that effectively i cant complete it because I won't have the time. This is wrong and the policy should be changed or reimbursement given. The course itself is however very good”

“My tutor was excellent at helping me and teaching me during this week. If I did not understand a certain area he would take extra time out to help me. NTC my training provider stated that I needed equipment for this week that I did not actually need to bring. They stated I needed overall's which I had to pay £20 for, when in fact I did not need these. My training provided also split my week 1 and 2 up so my next week is in August, however the rest of the class have a straight 2 weeks together. I was told the only available week 2 was in August so will now be behind the rest of the class.”

“My tutor is amazing and by far the best tutor in have had not to take away anything from the other tutors. He is knowledgeable about what he teaches but has the human touch and often times will throw in some encouragement if my confidence was lacking or sagging. He also had lots of advice on working in the outside world as a plumber. He should be the standard that all tutors aspire too. I must also acknowledge the other tutors in the centre who were only too happy to chip in with advice and help when needed and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Overall the best all round centres I have been too and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends. Well done to all its been a good and inspiring week and once again tutor has been amazing.”

But I'm not very pleased with my course provider because they did not tell me everything about the process I have to go through also they did not tell me that I have to travel far from my city to complete my gas course practical ...... in the start they told me they got a training centre close to me where I live so I do not need to travel far so that's why I chose them for this gas course but know they want me to go to Leeds Featherstone for two weeks ....”

“I have found out that there is a time limit on the course which I will struggle to get all the weeks in due to work and family commitments. I have been told it can be extended for a cost however, I cant see the reason or rationale behind charging me more as I don't get anything else out of the course. Not being able to book practical weeks very often had added to the issue again I don't feel I should be at a financial deficit for that issue when its out of my control.”

“Training has been good and I feel happy leaving each day having completed practical assessments. I am not the most practical of people compared to others in the group with trade/on site experience, but am a lot better than when I first started and can see progress. Chris can sometimes see this when he comes in the workshop and shows me vital tips to save me a lot of time as well as show me the correct way to use certain tools which has been highly appreciated.”
